I had a bit if luck on Friday (Eagle and Beaver)

Something I really enjoy about this site is to grab a cup of coffee and surf thru all the great photos you guys share. Hoping others like to do the same, I wanted to share my catch from Friday. I'm no Eric or Ira but I hope you enjoy them just the same. Larger files of these picts and more are in my user gallery.

On my off Friday, I took a mtn bike ride in my favorite patch of woods and was very suprized to see my first Eagle for 2009. This was as close as he or she would let me get. Shot freehand with d80,70-300VR, with 1.4X

While having lunch by this Beaver Lodge I could hear movement inside.

I have got to find away to carry my tripod on the bike.

Those are nice shots and story, like the beaver one especially. I also often browse through photos in the mornings, like I'm doing right now. :)

Nice, Bob. And to think where you have lunch is so different from where others (me :p ) have to have lunch!
