    Him and Her
Been chasing butterflies for practice and exercise all this week..
-while not the greatest shot,my excitement at getting both male and female, together, when they briefly touched down was tempered with relief.
-It also gave me an appreciation if the skill level involved in all the great shots I see in this forum.
-I'd like to try again, next free day,and am looking for a UV filter that fits the Sony,so any advice welcome !

Blue Pansy (Junonia orithya wallacei) related to the Buckeye (Junonia coenia) found in the United States of America.

    Thanks,Eric D,and A.M.D.A.
-No real macro lens, just a setting, but it gets blurry too close.
-He was moving, hence the blur on his body-they only dance during the noon hours,
when light is very harsh,so looks to me a tad over-exposed,my Sony DSC H9 seems to need a setting -0.03 under the meter, most noticeable in harsh light.

Hi Susaan, great to see you posting in this forum :)

Nice shot, I really envy you your climate :( You've got a macro paradise out there, so just keep practicing - and if you see a pink dragonfly, take a shot for me :)
