    Helpful Posting Advice

It has come to our attention that some members (new and old) are great at starting threads but not so responsive at commenting on others. This trend seems to be growing - see the number of threads with just a couple replies.

In an effort to keep this forum alive and thriving, we encourage everyone to be courteous and respectful to comments made by others; and also to make an effort to comment in the threads of others.

Only with feedback, participation, and encouragement can we grow and keep this forum a learning, teaching, and enjoyable place. This is YOUR place. Make it a GOOD place.

    Re: Helpful Posting Advice

It is sad to see 70,80,100 views and no comments. Have we become complacent, or is it, one can only type "oo la la" to a photo with no details so many times.

I sure wish we were all a little more talkative in our posts.
When I view a picture someone has posted I always wonder about how, when, where the shot was taken.
I am sure in many cases there is a good story to go with a shot or series and would enjoy the post more if there was a short paragraph or lesson as how the shot was taken.

plain and simple...... it pisses me off to see people post images and NEVER reply to other's images.

Wild and nature photography is the best way to introduce yourself in a professional way. I really like these types of photography. If you want to learn more about photography you can "Google it".
