    Thank you Knight and Bev. Wow, those images lost a lot of sharpness with the re-size... I'll have to figure out another way of doing it.

    Bev, here is another image of the lighthouse which was taken with my 18-55mm kit lens from the same distance a month or so ago.

    What an amazing shot Copy, caught the waves breaking just so! this lense is a pretty good piece of kit, iv been using mine lately and pleasantly surprised at its results. I could see this image framed,Thanks for posting.

    Loupey, I've been shooting in the Av mode and my histograms are looking a lot better. Thank you a million times for the advise :) I'll try the M mode soon.
