    Mallards & Macro's

Most of the birds were missing today, except for these two mallards that practically jumped in my lap… I think they were looking for a hand out.

And I tried to get a few macro’s of water droplets, which isn’t so easy.

    Thank you for looking.

    Re: Mallards & Macro's

Thanks Big Baldo, the lens that I used was my Canon 300mm f/4L, plus a 36mm Kenko extension tube. I tried getting all of the plants in the shot's when I should have only focused on the water droplets.

A couple of other birds that were around today... the usual birds (I wish the nuthatch wasn't on the feeder). I could have sworn that I saw a swallow today, probably still too early.

    Nice showing, Copy!

Love the last female mallard shot (take a little off the left side and I think it'll make it even better).

Gorgeous shots of the nuthatch and woodpecker. I definitely don't have many that close/clear of either species.

What a series Copy! they are all excellent, the snowdrop image is perfect, not an easy task but you have it sewn up on this one, and then it gets better!, the Nuthatch is to die for, what id do to have these guys around my neck of the woods, what a capture!

Awesome work CK. You make me jealous with your opportunities and your skills.

I love the Nut Hatch. Such a pretty little bird and expertly captured. The woodpecker too. Nice work.

Thank you Terryger, and I know what you mean about the ducks. If you type 'wildlife photography' into a search engine, you are bound to see millions and millions of eagle images along with ducks... I guess it's that time of year.
