    Garden Variety
Work schedule has put my photography on the sidelines for the past 3 months and looks like it won't let up soon (fortunately). No big photo treks this year.

A couple grab shots from two local park gardens. Lighting was about as extreme as one could ever get. But there you have it.

they are all very much Loupey images. which means of course top of the line. However the third one of the butterfly in flit is extraordinary. Love everything about it.

These are all excellent shot Loupey. I'll echo Old Timer though, shot 3 has it all.

Thank you, everyone, for the nice comments.

Here are a couple more from the same session. The last two images are of the same butterfly on the same flower and taken just moments apart - the only difference being about 18" in height of the camera. The blackness is the shadow from the trees across the field.

I typically don't like that much black but I think it works for that image with that subject. Any thoughts?

All awesome, Loupey. I love the hummingbird moth. I was trying to get a clear capture of one the other day and got nothing but blurs.
