And you're right. Come spring, the falls will really pick up in volume.
But it's neat seeing them "trickling" as well. You can play with shutter speeds, fast to freeze the water, and slow to blur it, and the effects are more pronounced with the trickling falls.
Plus, while you're "playing" with effects, you can be scouting the best locations to shoot from when they pick up in volume.

Yeah, that should be interesting for this area. You have to walk back a short trail to get there and there are actually three falls right there. It is a semi-circle formation that has the main falls in the middle. It is like 160+ feet in height. The two smaller falls are situated one on each side and they fall down into their own little pools that flow down to the main pool and stream that begins from from the main pool.
Once I can get some shots of them at full strength, I will post them here.
