Hawk & Owl....stare down in the tree

Went by the Park the other day and noticed a lot of activity in the tree behind me. Then I heard the screeches only to find a Red Shoulder Hawk & Barred Owl staring down each other for the tree position.......OWL WON!!
Tough shots in the tree with the sun in my face but all work out ok

This screech freak the Hawk out and he split!!!

The second and forth photos of the owl made it look really sad - I think it's the big eyes!

Yes..Screech, Barred & Great Horned Owls are Common here along with so many other Raptors!!

Eric, great series of shots, but the 4th Owl shot "Tree to himself now...." looks fantastic. Love the eye contact in that one........
