    Cardinal - Please photograph only my good side

    As you all know, Cardinals mate for life, and I have a mated pair that stay around my house. Last year they raised a brood of three chicks, and I'm still waiting to see what they do this year.

    I have posted many photographs of this pair over time, but normally the male is shown from the right side as in this photo...



    There is a reason for the posting only photos from his right side - His left side looks UGLY from an old eye injury. In the photo below, look closely and you can just barely see the eye, but I'm not sure if it functions.



    His left side may look ugly to us, but his mate does not seem to mind it at all.......
