    Kinda liked this one. I have a hard time getting anything good with these fellas...

    I know what you mean. I can't get a "nice" shot myself.

    I saw one doing the same thing yesterday on my way back from giving a training seminar. It was splayed all the way out facing the interstate. I had my camera with me and I was tempted to stop if it wasn't for the long line of cars behind me trying to go 75mph.

    Wonder why they do that? Not wet, not cold, perhaps too hot? Perhaps they just like to air out their arm pits

    Perhaps they are a little self conscious regarding cameras as they are no oil paintings, but what you have got is a great.

    Apparantly its a cooling process with birds in hot climates.

    Good detail on your Capture LL It must be to cool down ,i have a picture i got 2 years ago with about 20 of these guys all on fence post`s doing the same thing . If i remember right it was in early August and one of the warmest days of the summer.
