    They put dog cutouts in the field to keep the geese and brant out of the field.

    I really like that first shot and the last one gave a good laugh when I read your explanation. What kind of bird is that first one?

    I was told it was a flycatcher or a mocking bird? I tried to do a search but could not confirm it .

    Nice shots! The first is my favourite as well, though #4 is quite funny after reading your description. :)

    #1 is an adult Northern Mockingbird with a short tail.

    P.S. Did you use the TAMRON 70-300mm for these?

    Yes that is the lens I use for most of my bird images. I didn't think it was a mocking bird because of the short tail. Thanks for the id.

    That mockingbird is sweeeet. I have never had the pleasure of seeing one, or if I did, I just didn't know it.
