    "Fencepost" series

I decided it was time for a change of pace, and that a different subject would help me expand my photographic horizons. I decided to try shooting fenceposts today, and found several of interesting compositions and subjects. Alas, my normal subjects (the birds) became jealous, and did their best to ruin every shot by landing on the posts I was shooting! Sorry about that, and I'll try and get better shots of the posts next time

    Re: "Fencepost" series

I must say I've not seen images of some these species on fences before.

#2 is my favorite. Wondering if there is a little more fence/foreground on that one. Seems like such an unusual perch could be emphasized a little more if there is more on the bottom.

    Nice shooting as usual.

Loupey - There probably is some more room on that one to bring in more of the post. I honestly threw these together as kind of a gag! I usually hate having un-natural objects in my nature shots. Needless to say, having shot over a thousand frames that day, there were some pretty nice shots. Here's one more I forgot in the "post" series from the same day:

Canon Bob, I like them all - great images. Nice to see that someone has a variety of birds still around at the end of November.

Great shots. I even got a laugh out of #3 and how it looks like a bad hair dye / rug.
