Faux Waterfalls

I'm not super big on man-made waterfalls. You can make it and landscape it as natural as you want, it's still a big fountain.

That said, I finally went into the Botanic Garden's Waterfall Garden and played around with long exposures. I only had my monopod so I either shot from that or put the camera on the ground or a rock.

If I can figure out where in the house I put my Tripod, I'll probably bring that with tomorrow and really play around there.

I think your waterfall pictures are very attractive. Waterfalls of all kinds have been a joy for me to photograph. And it was possible for you to take photos that left nothing out.

Iguazu Falls, as an extreme example in the opposite direction, can never be photographed properly because they are a huge number of varied natural falls on the border between Argentina and Brazil.

Anybody trying to approach Iguazu by boat or on land will receive such a drenching from the spray that cameras are lucky to recover.

Did the best with Iguazu, but can't seem to upload my stills. Reason unknown.

What settings did you use for this kind of pictures?
