    Actually they skate on top of it via surface tension.

    Thank you all for taking the time to comment.

    Water reflections have become my latest obsession - difficult to find the right setting/subject, hard to find the exact shooting angles, rare to find the proper sun/cloud/reflection combinations, but so satisfying when it comes together.

    That first shot is simply......wow. The tiny little lens flares, the framing, the clarity. I bow to you sir =)

    I found another one from that day that looks pretty good I think. I like the look of the ripples on the surface.

    I like them all but my favorite is the last one in the original post. I just like the way it is headed toward you in the shot. I thinks it make the capture much more interesting. Grat work as always, Jeff
