    Ooooh! I like.

    About as good as anyone could have gotten judging by your shutter speed and shallow DOF. I'm assuming you were shooting nearly wide open and it was very close?

    Well, I felt I did worse because I only have one photo that is sort of presentable, in my opinion, out of the bunch of hummingbird shots I took that day.

    Loupey, I was about a few feet away from the bird. If I bent forward a bit and really stretch my arm, I believe I could touch the bird with my hand. I was using a 105mm macro so I had to get close. Anywhere closer I think the birds would stay away though.

    marco1910: f4, 1/1000 sec, ISO 100. Natural light.
