i like how the background is the rear end of another deer, frames the face pretty nice.

All conditions were right for me to get extremely close to a group of does and fawns yesterday morning. In these groups, they have an established pecking order, and a lot of people would be surprised at how much jostling and front-hove clubbing goes on to keep the pecking order established. But there often is reassuring gestures between members, especially does and younger offspring. Here's a shot I got of the way they sometimes touch noses for reassurance. I call it the doe kiss. Of course, they smell each other's behinds a lot too.

That first one is awesome, for what Dylan said.... only I would like to see the ear tips too...

#2 would definitely be my favourite if there wasn't any grasses "poking through" the deer's faces, but the subjects are really great. Nice lighting on both... and love the sharpness!
