    Early Autumn in New York

I went for a long drive today to see the Adirondack Mountains. Here are some pictures from the trip, nothing spectacular... after a few pictures they all start to look the same.

I played around with my editing software a little more than usual, I hope I didn't overdue any of them. A critique of these pictures would be very appreciated.

This was taken just outside of Old Forge, NY off of state route 28.

Another one taken off of route 28 a little father east of Old Forge, I'm not sure of the lakes name.

This one was taken near Tupper, NY off of state route 3.

Not too much color in this one, I just liked the view. It is also near Tupper, NY off route 3.

The next two pictures are of the Oswegatchie River near Oswegatchie, NY Also off of state route 3.

Re: Early Autumn in New York

    Looks like a great drive

It also looks like you're in the middle of nowhere (which is somewhere in my book ).

Colors are turning nice. The first image is great and my favorite of the bunch. How the river and the far bank both lead off to the same point to the right is very nice. I'm surprised that no flyfishermen were in the rivers. One there in that one would have been a nice touch. Too bad the sky didn't have some more/better clouds (not that you could have done anything about that one ).

Good job and thanks for sharing!

    What's a Loupe for anyway?

Thanks Loupey and Bevb. I've been looking for someone fly fishing in a river or creek around here, no luck yet.
