A Different Light

I thought we might get a spectacular sunset last night. Instead, it became odd - an incoming storm mixed with some air pollution gave it a weird, off-color hazy sunset.

I thought I'd try to use that light to convey some emotion into these shots instead of the more documentarian approach. A little more softer, a little more darker, a little more environmental. The sun did peak out briefly for the last shot.

first one is a meadowlark, tree swallows in the remaining 4 images.

Love #5 so tranquil, shame #2 isnt a tad sharper, as to get a shot that close of one of these aint easy!

I love looking at photos like #5. So soothing.

I like them all Loupey, #2 would be my favorite!
