    Talking Eagles in soar

I woke up early this morning and drove to the harbor to see if there were any interesting ducks there. The sun was out for a little bit and then it became very dark so I came home. The sun came out again and it was back to the harbor. Not too much going on so back home I went. I walked out onto the deck to see if there were any yard birds worth shooting and couldn’t understand why there wasn’t a single bird around… and then I heard a screech from above… as if these two eagles were saying: Hey dummy, we’re up here! Right above my house!

I had to try and shoot through a lot of tree branches so my focus wasn’t too good… anyway, it was so cool to see these two.

The images are as shot with only a slight crop done to them.

    A young one…

    And an adult…

Way cool!! Right over your house after so many trips to 'that special place'. Very funny!

    Great going, Copy

Sounds like Murphy's Law is in full effect. Or is it the Boy Scouts motto (be prepared)?

Either way, you got a good shot of it. I'm envious.

LOL, it was really cool seeing the eagles so close to home but I would rather get a shot of a kestrel

There are a few birds higher on my list than eagles... kestrels, any owl, northern flicker, peregrine falcon, and number one is an Atlantic puffin.

A few poop eagles from today
