Thanks so much for the comments. I wasn't sure about the dead stem on the right but after playing with the shot (it's in. it's out. it's in. it's out) decided it added a bit of character to the shot.

I think it will be difrent if the stem on the right is kept.
when it is there, there's a possible imagination that the fly will go slowly up towards the up end.
on the contary, it will either turn round or just fly way..
