    Coyote Pup
While sitting a ground blind taking antelope photos, I had this young coyote come in for a drink.

Not long after, this badger came for a drink.

And right after that these two buck antelope stopped by.

And on the way to my blind that day I took this photo when I saw a badger running in the sage and took after him. He went down a hole and I took this photo.

So I long for winter to pass so I can get back and take more photos in pronghorn country.

    Have a good one. BB

I like the second coyote photo most - it seems expectant somehow. Also, nice capture with the badger in its hole! How far away were you when you snapped it? I don't imagine you had much time, even though the badger looks like it's almost lounging in some shade.

That one of the Badger in its hole is gorgeous! It looks young -- sort of innocent and a little frightened, not grumpy like the older ones get. Wonderful capture!

The badger ran down a shallow hole that deadened in less than 18". So he turned around and faced me for protection. He was a young (cub-kit) badger and I am sure he was scared. I lay on the ground just 2 or 3 yards from him and took a few photos and then left so as to let him know he could go on doing his own thing.

In that pectulair area I always see quite a few badgers and I sure like to photograph them.

Another lovely Badger shot, Billy! They are beautiful little critters, aren't they? We don't have them where I live, but I've always admired their tough, tenacious character and their lovely faces -- much more attractive than the European Badgers IMHO.
