    Gorgeous image. Maybe a crop?

Do they have coyotes in WI? I know you have deer. I've been to WI a number of times and seen them everywhere but downtown -- never seen another place liek it for deer.

Not sure about Hawaii but I'll be the rest do. Does their range reach Alaska?
I heard on the news that they had one in Central Park and they trapped it. Can't abide having nature on Manhatten I guess.

I heard about the coyote in Central Park too! As adaptive as these critters are, I wouldn't be surprised if they have made it to Alaska.

See, I 've been to NJ and never seen a deer. (Atlantic City, Jersey City, Weehawken, Secuacus, Rosevillee - or is it Roseland?)

and up until 2 years ago I could find a HERD of deer that was 100+ in size every day. WHITE BUFFALO was called in to many town in my area to SLAUGHTER the over population of deer in the area. You need to get to more rural areas of NJ than those areas you mentioned ;)

Yeah, you knew I was kidding, right?;) I've been to Manhattan a bunch of times for work and once for vacation and worked with some businesses in NJ, but they've all been a short car ride from Manhattan. I've always thought it was kinda weird when I've talked to people from NJ who live in suburban and rural places, 'cause my sense of NJ is a bit like the opening scene in the Sopranos, if you've ever seen it, where the main character drives through overpasses and somestacks that look like Newark.

    Re: Coyote

Actually he is driving on the NJ turnpike exit 14 area(just past newark airport) near jersey city I do believe ;) If you go 30 miles north of there you are in god's country again. NJ is very built up along the hudson and along the interstates in some areas, but we also have the echo tourists coming to visit us too ;)

Thanks for the comments LL. No crop here, this is a full frame shot. We have lots of coyotes here in WI but this shot was taken at Rocy Mt. National Park.

You are right about the deer in WI too. I have seen them down town here in Mineral Point. One of our city cops watched a doe give birth right next to one of our city streets one afternoon. It was right on the edge of town and in an natural area, but still in city limits. I was out driving around the backroads tonight and saw quite a few. No good shots tho.
