Courtship Ritual

I found this Tom strutting his stuff, but I don't think he understood the purpose. The two hens were ready and willing, and one went so far as to get right in front of him and squat, but old Tom was too preoccupied looking good and refused to be distracted.

Thanks for the comments Cara and Bob. These shots were a result of a trip to get some Bald Eagle pictures. No eagles to be found, and the turkeys wandered into my path while I was packing up my gear. I am wondering if I go turkey hunting, maybe I'll find...no, it would never work!
