A couple of pigeon in flight shots

Again, some photos of some very common birds :blush2:

Took some shots of the pigeons flying around over a snow covered parking lot.

It appears that one good thing about the snow is that it acts as a big reflector to reflect the light from an overcast sky off the ground back to the belly side of the birds.

Heck – you can take ANY bird and turn it into a successful photograph!!! The only trick is to shoot with proper perspective, focus, etc.. Which in my opinion all are found in these ones here...

I'm impressed with these because I know how difficult it is to get decent shots of birds in flight. I can see the best way to do it is with snow to reflect light up. Nice.
