    Tricolored Heron

I love Tricolored Herons. They are the most erratic hunters. They seldom stand still and attack anything they think is edible. Very entertaining birds.

This unlike the ultra patient (sometimes boring) Egrets and other large water birds, that pose for long, extended periods (motionless) waiting for something to swim within striking distance.

That's a beautiful bird. I love the red eyes.

Alittle wider to include both feet and it would be a stronger image, but well done none the less!

This is a wonderful looking bird, Great color, your saturation is right on. I really like the way the bird is holding it's neck, I don't think you could pose the bird any better if you would have done it yourself.
