Could of been worse!

Yesterday i went and broke 2 fingers moving a sofa! luckily, on my left hand as i am right handed, and to think it could of been my shutter finger!!

After 4 hours at A&E i thought a nice walk along my local river to see if i could work the camera ok, finding it abit hard to support the lense at the moment so sorry pics are'nt up to usual scratch, but no excuses!!

I find sea birds easier to capture due to them being not so erratic.

All images at 1/500 f.8 ISO 200.

Aw...Bev! I'm sorry to hear about your hand...that sounds painful.

Great pictures, however...I particularly like the second one with the two birds/two reflections.

I love the first and the wing position on the 3rd.

Broken fingers heal pretty fast, you'll live :lol: Sorry to hear that you broke them though, I know all to well the hiderance of a broken finger.

A flash is like a screwdriver... It just a tool and you don't need it for every job. Flash can make or break an image, but once you get used to fill flash you'll see you can make evenly exposed images in uneven lighting.
