    A few from the woods

    I got out twice on the weekend and hiked around in the woods enjoying winter until a blizzard blew up on Sunday with heavy snow, howling winds and branches falling around me which convinced me it was time to go read a book in my armchair...

    My favorite would be the last one. I don't know why but, of course the bird looks good, I also like the overall warm tone theme of it.

    Glad you were able to get out while it was still nice. That snow looks pretty deep already.

    Thanks Aging Eyes, I like the tones on that shot too.

    Thanks Loupey, that darn woodpecker worked on trees all around me for 20 mins and always managed to have the trunk between it and me except for this shot.
