As many of you know, I've been trying to get a hunting sequence of a bird-of-prey without much success. Hawks are tough as you have to be in the right place at the right time (translation: luck). Kestrels seem easier as they hover tantalizing long in one spot. Until you try to get close
Today, I thought I had it. The light direction, wind direction, lack of other people, and a hunting kestrel where all in place. That is, everything except me. But before I could ease myself into position in front of the kestrel, it dove.
I will get a complete sequence one of these days!!!
