    Butterflies and a Bug
Yep more butterflies from me. I have been so tied down to home recently I just cant get out to shoot anywhere else. I took the kiddos to the Butterfly Place today for my little ones B-Day. Shes 3 today.
I feel as if I am losing my faith in any photographing ability I may or may not have. I guess I'm in a photo rut.
Any feedback would be great here...

I dont know what kind of Bug this is. It was just hanging out on my fence.

This one is a Tailed Jay. I noticed in editing the right wing is blurred but I'll show it anyway.

I think this one is a female Scarlet Swallowtail

These are either Banded Orange or Julias..Male and female I can only presume

Nice shots for being in a rut. I especiially like the first bug, whatever it is. That last shot is really a strange looking butterfly. It looks like he has a ring in his nose. Maybe it's a bullbutterfly.

Don't be so hard on yourself. I think you did great - especially on that mating pair

:D these are awesome. I need to find a butterfly house. soon.:D

If i can make a suggestion? You did all the hard stuff actually capturing the photos, if I were you, I would sit back and have some fun sharpening and cropping usin even some basic post edit software. A little tinkering might take these from very nice into superb. Just a thought...

Thank you Minnesota Scroller. It really does look like an odd butterfly. I looked more closely and its body seams to be very small compared to others.

Loupey, Thank you. I think its just been a rough few weeks for me, hurting my hand then I was sick with a aweful cold for a week so I havent been out much at all. This coming week I plan to do some trails so hopefully things will be looking up.

nps474..Thank you also...I try not to do to much editing when showing my photos. I like to be judged on my original work then go from there with any suggestions from members.I just got PS CS3 so tinking will be done on these lol.
As far as Butterfly houses..I posted a link for you in the other butterfly thread of a place in Chicago.
