Imagine the surprise me and my buddy Jay had today wile driving on a back road to our first job this morning, im driving like crazy as usual and Jay says moose by reflex i jam the brakes hard he he , i have him well trained as a spotter lol . At a fields length theres a moose nibbling on the new spring buds that are coming out . So heres what i got out of my little walk across the field :)
BTW , hes a male as you can see by the marks above the eye were his antlers were last fall . New ones will be growing out in a few weeks :)

Re: Bull moose.
Nice capture and lucky find. This is one critter I'll probably never get a shot of. They are just to. rare and getting rarer, in MN.

Dylan , the legs on this moose are sorta gray .I think there are more than one kind of moose I'm not sure ill have to google that l8tr :)
Mike, i will probably never see another live one again they are getting scarce here also . I'm not a hunter but I'm sure there must be plenty of them further north.

Beautiful shot! Shutterbug, you have a better chance of seeing a moose than I do :D

Re: Bull moose.
That is an awesome shot, what a beautiful animal. You did a great job in capturing this huge beast, forging for some food.
That white btw looks like where the animal has been laying down in the snow, and has some caught in it's fur.
