Once in a while I get lucky enough to have everything come together for a picture. Good light, no shadows, uncluttered background, sharp focus, position of the bird, everything just right.
I get the picture home and I have no idea what the bird is!!! :confused:
So we add 30 to 45 minutes to my normal workflow, just for this one picture, and finally get a probable ID. I'm pretty sure this is a Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher.
