Black Crowned Night Heron
While at the Viera Wetlands this morning, I noted a number of photographers shooting a flock of Egrets and Herons that were in a feeding frenzy in front of them. I noted that off to the side was a Black Crowned Night Heron, so I got out my tripod and took a few shots. The bird was behind some reeds but now and then a gust of wind would come up which blew the reeds down allowing me to get a shot.

Wow! These are spectacular. Thanks for sharing them.

Gorgeous shots, Ira.
LOL, is it me or do I tend to get redundant with my replies to both you and Eric. You both take seriously stunning shots.
Re: Black Crowned Night Heron
Awesome Ira...eye contact makes these shots spot on!

Wow, I will get to the viera wetlands one year, even if I have to abandon Angie and my credit card in a mall somewhere for the day ...
