    1st signs of Spring

I know the photographers here are big bird people, but my woods were EMPTY as I went for my 1st weekend walk of the spring. No birds, No Squirrels.

But I did find a few signs that spring has sprung!

    Skunk Cabbage!

Note: I was very mad that I was not able to get the "moon" inside the plant in-focus ... I'm going back tomorrow!

    I'm not either

    Re: 1st signs of Spring

I like these. You have my sympathy..I walked for 2 hours along the river yesterday and took only 6 photos. I'd put on a strange combination of close-up filters with an 18-50 zoom and a 2x converter with the idea of doing some close ups of new growth but...there was none yet... Ahhh well, it was a nice walk anyhow.

That antler is a neat find and an interesting shot too.
