    Black Bear Feeding

Hey guys whats up, it's been a long time since I visited. I've been busy working full time to upgrade my gear .

I was out in Russian River, which is located in Cooper Landing, Alaska, and saw this black bear come down to the river for a snack. Unfortunitly I was waist deep in the water and barely had time to whip out my camera and swap to my telephoto lens =\. But still managed to get a shot of him walking back up the hill.

It's a good thing he has that salmon in his mouth, because he's looking at you.

Thanks for the replies . Actually, I think he was looking at the guy in front of me (well diagonally in front) lol. I wish I would've brought my camera for another shot. A big momma grizzly came down with two cubs.

That is why you always have your camera out, ready with the correct lens for your next shot, so on, so on.... Yea Right, you did a great job for all that you had to do to capture this photograph. Along with being excited seeing the bear, I think you did a good job.

Very true, I've finally learned that in the past year haha. I was just being lazy and didn't want to carry it with a bunch of fishing gear. Thanks again.

Black bears aren't scary in my area, so I'd think they are less aggressive there too?

    Great shot there!
