    Thank you all!

I'd originally posted this message at the end of the squirrel thread but I decided that nobody would look there anymore and since I really want to say thank you, I decided I had better do it properly!

I would like to thank you all for making me feel so welcome in this forum. I've been away from photography and PR for a few years, and I've really enjoyed my return to both I'm absolutely delighted with my first DSLR and you guys are great

I also would like to want thank everyone who has contributed to the squirrel thread with photos, comments, humour and so forth. It has really been a great and enjoyable thread with some wonderful photos

And I hope I will see some squirrel photos from you all in the future! I'm looking forward to seeing some nice winter shots and I do hope we get some more shots of the white squirrel

    Warm regards,
    Mette

    No, thank you, Mette.

We value all contributing, helpful members here at PR. It's always a breath of fresh air whenever someone new comes along. Even more so when they are from other corners of the globe with different viewpoints.

Your enthusiasm is very contagious and we all hope you will stick around.

Don't let it be known that the N&W forum is the funnest forum at PR - it's our secret

    Thank you :blush2:

It's certainly my plan to stick around...LOL... what else is a girl supposed to do on cold dark winter nights here in the far North??!! Only problem is the time difference  , I'm getting to bed too late!

Loupey, I had a good look at your website (very interesting read indeed, you're a man of many talents ) and got inspired....you'll find out soon but it's the title of a famous Leonard Cohen song, hint hint

Funnily enough, last time I was a member of PR many moons ago in the good ol' days, I was living in Borneo, an even further away corner of the globe (that's where my pink dragonfly comes from, it was from my very first roll of film with a macro lens and the opening of a whole new world for me ).

    Thanks again!

That squirrel thread was very enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed how it inspired interest in an animal frequently seen and photographed but often regarded as too common to be interesting. So, thank you Mette for renewing my interest in photographing them. Good to have you here taking part.

Borneo?! How cool is that! My what interesting paths you must have traveled (and still traveling).

N&W stories of your past travels would be highly appreciated!

    Re: Thank you all!

Thank you all for your warm welcoming posts on this thread!

Yeah, Borneo was great I was there for 5 years, unfortunately I didn't discover photography until the last 1 - 1 1/2 years I was there..., under the wonderful guidance of the all-time-great Mr.Fitz of PR, now sadly diseased... Nearly all my photos I only have in negative format. I had a couple scanned in on my old PC, but I'm not sure they made it onto the last-minute panick back-up CD. I shall look though.

But I can assure that it's an amazing place, absolute paradise for N&W (and lots of other stuff, the most beautiful old ladies I ever saw!). If any of you ever have a half a chance of going, take it!
