That middle tufted titmouse is quite nice, as is the junco as it jumps ! The last one looks a little out of focus though?

Thanks Paul. Yeah, the 2nd shot of the titmouse is not as focused as I thought! Lol...I liked the upside down-ness of him, but I wish I'd gotten his eye a little better than that.

Well, my feeders are on the far side of my deck...and I think I was about 15 feet away...? Sometimes the birds are bolder than others...this time, I just walked out, and the titmice and chickadees still came up to the feeders. Often I'll get woodpeckers out there too. I usually have my lens as far as it will go when I take pics like that...lol. It's a 70-300mm.

You should definitely get some feeders! I'm surprised you don't have some. The suet feeders are great for all different types...I've even had a red-bellied woodpecker on it. My neighbor's mom swears by the hot pepper suet cakes too.

Love the second shot, even if it isnt as sharp as you would like it. I am very envious of the beautiful birds you seem to get in your gardens in your part of the world.

Thanks Bev! I'm envious of your little bird friend too, though.

I have to say - that first shot cracks me up - it looks like he just fell off the branch by tipping over.

But the second and third are great. As soon as the weather warms up and we get the goldfinches, I'll be sitting out by my feeder!

    Great shots.
