Caught this red-tailed hawk just kickin' back on the side of the road. Turned the jeep around and was able to get out and snap a few pictures before it decided to fly up on a utility pole where it felt safer.

It is always nice to see a western redtailed hawk, to this easterner atleast ;)

Seeing a hawk perched that low is a treat in itself, but capturing it's image is that much better!
