    The Beast
I'll submit this just for fun. I couldn't figure out what was ravaging my lemon tree until one day, upon inspection, I find this.

    We had words!!

I had the same feeling. This thing, this beast was 2.5 inches long, was fearless. It never moved, it just stood there daring me to do something. "what, you wanna piece of me?"

I took its picture then the games began.

I see similiar ones on the cherry tomatos at work. They don't last long after I find them :)

Nice camera angle and framing here!

Well, this one didn't last long either. Looks like a lot of good eaten for some creature though. Nothin' but meat.

Hey, I thought I read somewhere that you were not a "bug" person :p

Careful - too many more bug posts here from the likes of us and the birders will demand that this forum be separated into two - one for birds and one for bugs :p

Just kidding of course! But look, Paul (if you're reading this), I think there has been more bugs here lately :)

Oh, I'm not! The mere sight of an ant makes my skin crawl. But, when the good photo op presents itself I can't look away.
