    Bare Faced Ibis
I have been hunting Green Ibis for almost a year and have spent many fruitless hours sitting in swamps getting eaten by mosquitoes. I hear them all the time and see them as they fly off through the trees but on only one or two occasions have I managed to get even a long distance shot of them in the open. I was well pleased when I managed a couple of shots of these Bare-faced Ibis that landed in the garden of the house I had rented while on holiday in Florianopolis. Hope you like them.

Both very nice as usual, Martin. :)

Interesting bird I've never heard of, thanks very much for sharing. I love the head-on shot, it almost looks like two "tough gang members"... :D
