Bald Eagle's coming back to my area....

Bald Eagles are returning to our area since leaving in mid May. These two Eagles come back to a nest located on a large power transmission tower. One of three nest I have for the season, but this one I rarely post due to the towers and power lines. The other 2 nest (in pine tree's) should have the Eagles back in a couple more weeks.

Rainy, windy and some harsh back lighting .....but 2 Eagles posing together, I couldn't resist the shot's!

Female is on the right....she is the larger one!

Don't know why but memories of being on the rifle range popped into my head.

Just to make sure this is not misunderstood.... I would never consider shooting any raptor. :blush2: (with a firearm)
