    Arizona Botanical Garden
I normally only shoot sports, but I do want to start shooting some nature/scenic stuff. I decided to post a few that I took last Christmas at the Arizona Botanical Garden. C&C welcome.

    Welcome to N&W, tadrscin!

I like your shot #1 - nice reflection and nice color rendition.

Looks like you've got a lot of good equipment (partial to that 30D myself :p ). When not shooting sports, they should do well capturing N&W!

I hope we get to see what critters you have there in WA soon.

Thanks Loupey. I've been trying to get all the equipment I'm going to need so I'll be ready to do some serious photography this fall when I stop riding outside so much. Last year all I had was the 350D and the 28-135 which I've since sold. Now I won't be so limited in what I can do. My wife and I are planning on a few camping trips this fall so I hope to get some really nice N/W shots then. I still need to get a tripod and shutter release though. I am really enjoying the 30D :) It's such a step up from the 350D.

Lofty goal, but not attainable :p :) :D

I've always wanted to go out west (anything west of Mississippi). Mountains, desserts, forests, coastline... seems like a photographers dream. Definitely post your camping pixs and anything in between.

But remember, for us here "nature" and "wildlife" need not be so extravagant. The wildest nature can be right outside your doorstep :)

Actually my needs have already been exceeded. It's my wants that are lofty and unattainable :D

We are truly blessed with a wide variety of natural beauty here which is one reason I'll never live anywhere else.

Hmmm... does the neighbor's cat count as wildlife then? Actually we do have a large number of birds that hang out at our house. Maybe I'll give that a try this weekend if time permits.
