    Haven't had much desire too

pick up my camera lately and go out shooting. March 8th, I was forced to leave my home quickly with my children and my pets so now I'm in Maryland living with my parents. Things are gonna be pretty tough for us for a while, but I actually picked up the camera today.

Not too much to shoot in here and its rainy out so I shot my moms Easter Lilly's. I liked it, so I thought I would share. This is with window light, hoping it fits here in the nature forum, cause I miss you guys

Oh and I shot one of this guy too. Back when I was a senior in high school, some neighborhood kids brought this guy to us. They found him in the street. (The neighborhood kids were ALWAYS bringing animals they found to our house lol) My parents have had him ever since. (His glass is always dirty on the inside.. ick.)

Hopefully things can settle down for me soon and I can go out and do some shooting. I'm very close to the naval academy and the water down there this morning (on the way to the drs office) was so pretty all covered with fog and my mom told me there is a hawk that is landing on their bird feeders going after the birds. I'm hoping to see him.

Pretty shot! Just went through that myself (no kids in tow) but hang tight, it will all work! Lose yourself in your camera too, it helps

Love the flower! Sorry to hear about the tough times, but Godspeed getting through. I too find my camera to be a wonderful escape from life's many challenges.
