I met up with a few birders from my area today on a break between my shifts (btw split shifts suck) and found a new playground to shoot from. It is a park at the top of the bluffs over looking Lake Ontario in the migration path of the raptors heading south for warmer winter grounds.
We spotted many different species most of which were out of range for the camera lens but I managed to find a few which were close enough for a portrait. Here's 5 that I liked in my first round of processing.
Juvenile Bald Eagle
Sharp Shinned Hawk
Resident Coopers Hawk
I am sure I have a few of a Harrier we saw but I can't seem to find them. I'll post them once I sort out who's who.
