[nex-5r panorama] This is my very first picture for all of you
I "made" (not toke) this shot this morning, near my home, in South Perth, Western Australia. Here it's autumn but the sun is bright and hot, this place is at the same parallel of Cape Town, South Africa.
Making this shoot was not easy at all because of the strong wind that kept the leaves moving; I could fix it by waiting for the perfect timing in which the wind froze itself.
I gave a little balance to this picture with Aperture, but I kept both saturation and contrast in their original levels.

Let me know what you think about my picture :)

Here is a preview of the original image, linked below

Great first photo post, Matteo! To my eye, it looks like it could use a bit of contrast adjustment to give it a bit more snap. I'd also use some Unsharp Mask on it. But I like the subject and composition. Did you use the Sweep Panorama features (or whatever they call it) in your NEX-5R to make this?

By the way, since this isn't really a nature or wildlife photo, it might have been a better fit on the Photo Critique or ViewFinder forums. That's ok, though. I'm just happy to see you start posting photos :)

    Hey John,

thanks for your kind reply, I didn't realise to have posted in the wrong section; next time I'll take care of that. Great suggestions, I will try to retouch it a bit :)
I used the "panorama" feature; it's possible to set the camera with aperture, shutter speed, ISO and lighting and then you move the camera gently from left to right. It's very easy and you don't need a tripod even if I used it for this image.
Next week I'm going to post something new.
    Thanks again John :)
