My name's Ian -I'm British and I teach English in Moscow. I have been actively intetested in photography for a year- I use a compact canon powershot A75. Any photos from before that date were with my old fully manual Ricoh.
I'm a beginner in photography and am looking to improve through advice and critiques. All information is greatly appreciated about what I could have done differently to acheive better results. Thank you!
I was raised an army brat, traveling from place to place across Canada. We spent 2 years in Germany, where I got my first taste of photography. Cost of film processing put me off for a few decades, until digital cameras brought back the magic!

In 2005, I was fortunate enough to go on safari to Tanzania and to go to Alaska to photograph grizzlies. In 2007 and 2008 I went on safari in Kenya.
Acheived LRPS status in 2007 and now looking to obtain my ARPS.
F70 (the F100 is so reliable that I do not use my F70 anymore - however the F70 is a great camera!)
