I was a potter, photographer,speed graphic,ect,all film,new to Digital.Use microsoft studio and adobe for editing,my canon just bit the dust and need to get another camera,Canon or Nikon. I went to art school in 80's,black and white and slides.Have not done anything but snaps since 1990. Learning technical stuff using digital has been rough as my husband is unable to leave the area and I have had to teach myself.I am not technical by nature, but have always been in love with the arts.At my age I learn more slowly, but my only obstacle is being stuck in an area with few interesting things I would care to photograph.I have a dog who is very patient that I practice on and I buy flowers, and still life stuff, but when I use to do color slide shows,pre-digital, Iwas free to roam,lived in Washington state and photographed dept store window displays at night in Seattle. Today of course, you could no go there at night anyway without a few dozen army reservists to protect you and your equipmen
