i am new to photography .i am 40yrs old with a wife of 18 years and 4 children....i have had 2 hip replacements on one side in 3 years.getting older and slowing down i have really taken to wildlife photography....i just took my first 6 week course to learn some basics and am looking forward to learning as much as i possibly can

I'm originally from upstate NY, went to college in Vermont, now living in Boston. I never tok my interest in photography very seriously. I recently picked it up as an active hobby. I like to experiment with natural light; I would like to experiment with portraits, but I'm a little nervous still.

Started experimenting with slr 3 years ago with a borrowed camera, results were encouraging, bought my own (see above) a year later used, tele zoom and tripod last year. Am teaching myself to use it by reading books. Very slow progress but am still enthusiastic. Have tried to edit some small errors in Photoshop but don't quite understand the lingo.
