What is the proper way of doing templates?
I see alot of GFX guys with screenshots of templates, but how do they make them?
I just started getting into dreamweaver, and I've been playing with it for a few days. I know some of the basics like linking pages together and such. I was wondering if someone could recommend a book or software tutorial that I could use to learn all of the basics up to advanced techniques for dreamweaver 8. Also im a complete beginner to flash, so if you have any recommendations for that as well, Id apreciate it. thanks!

Read the help files within each of the programs would be a good start.
The correct way of doing temlates, is to create the initial page, save it as a template and then design new pages based on the template. You have to make sure that you make areas of the tempalte as editable regions so you can put the content in those areas. SAMS books are usually a good place to start as you can learn more than the basics in 21 days.
