Looks good so far. My only peeve (and it may be just that) is a link to your home page ON your home page. I know from past experience that this may simply be a template thing...

When you get a chance, you should think about adding basic contact info and maybe a bio page about yourself. Most visitors look for that...

I took a quick look at it and my first impression is good. Nice layout - sober but I like that very much when surfing on the web. Images look good too (especially some landscapeshots).

I'm curious about the rest,

Hey what's up? I'm a photographer, new to the Los Angeles area...just out of ugh! "art" school. haha. Your site is not bad...but, to be frank, a little outdated. (sorry, you wanted honesty) My friend showed me this place, and their stuff is really nice. Plus it's dirt cheap! It's pretty much just hosting cost, but you get a really modern site AND webmail!! (that's the part that I wanted the most)

Welcome to the forum and I hope your input will be helpful and constructive.

I read you original post above and thought the same thing that Charles did, but decided to leave it alone and watch what others though before broaching the issue.

Although you are trying to help others, this sort of post would be better in the news forum, where psudo advertising is allowed.

I don't think the original poster was looking for web hosting, but an opinion on the website design.

Miette, it isn't a problem.

As you can see, I am the Moderator for this forum and have options regarding threads, one of those is deleteing, another is moving it, but in this case I will leave it as it is, as I realise your intentions were from the heart.

Your picture were great but the design of your site was a little simple I would add an information page where people could read more about you and do a biography of what you like to do and why, It is important to give people more information about yourself, I deal with highend sights and animation. You should add some rollovers like multimedia sound and animation. I learned that navigation is really important when it comes to designing and that people like to go to sites that are aesthetically and visually pleasing regardless of how good the content is. If you don't have a homepage that grabs peoples attention they won't take the time to search through your site
