What's It Worth?
I have an Auto Vivitar Antomatic Wide Angle Lens - 35mm f2.8 for a Nikon SLR meter coupled camera.
The lens is still in it's original box and formed foam protection (box is a bit aged), and I'd like to know what its approximate value is.
Can anyone provide me a reasonable price range for this lens?
Thanks!

I'm assuming that it's a manual focus lens - if that's the case, then not too much. The two usual places to check are keh.com and completed items on ebay.
KEH is a store in Atlanta that has a huge selection of used gear. Keep in mind that they have a short warranty they offer and are known to be conservative in their ratings. Because of this their prices tend to be a little higher than what you might get it for on ebay. I don't think that KEH would have something like this though - but it's worth a look.
Even Nikon's manual focus lenses are a bargain these days because they don't meter with all of the latest cameras.

Without looking it up (which was a good suggestion) I'd say you might get $30 or so if sold on Ebay. KEH probably wouldn't buy it from you. If they did, maybe $20
